🗺️ Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival & Welcome — Haridwar
Arrive at Haridwar. Check in to hotel. Medical check-up by our assistant (blood pressure, oxygen levels). Welcome dinner and group briefing. Optional: Ganga aarti at Har Ki Pauri (viewing from ghats — no crowds).
Haridwar – Rishikesh Sightseeing
Gentle sightseeing day in Rishikesh — Triveni Ghat, Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula. Parmarth Niketan for the Ganga aarti. Return to Haridwar for rest. This is an acclimatization and energy-conservation day before the mountains.
Haridwar – Barkot (220 km) — Slow Drive
Depart at 7 AM at a gentle pace. Rest stop every 1.5 hrs. Lunch stop in Mussoorie area. Arrive Barkot by 4 PM. Check in. Evening walk on flat terrain near hotel. Early dinner and rest (9 PM bedtime recommended).
Barkot — Rest Day & Local Walk
Full rest day at Barkot to acclimatize and conserve energy for Yamunotri. Optional gentle walk to nearby Saptarishi Kund. Medical check by our assistant. Light meals. Briefing about Yamunotri trek and pony/palki arrangements.
Barkot – Yamunotri (Pony/Palki Provided)
Drive to Janki Chatti (36 km). Our assistant arranges pony or palki for all pilgrims — both ways included. Ride up 6 km to Yamunotri temple. Perform puja and Surya Kund ritual. Return on pony/palki. Drive back to Barkot. Overnight.
Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 km)
Relaxed drive after breakfast. Arrive Uttarkashi by lunch. Afternoon rest. Visit Vishwanath Temple in the evening (flat walking). Medical check. Early dinner at 7 PM. Overnight Uttarkashi.
Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi
Drive to Gangotri (100 km). Flat walk from parking to temple (400 m — paved road). Perform Ganga puja and aarti. Holy dip in Bhagirathi optional (not mandatory for seniors). Return to Uttarkashi. Rest afternoon. Overnight.
Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (210 km)
Long drive with 4 rest breaks. Arrive Guptkashi by 5 PM. Medical check. Hot water bag provided for tired muscles. Early dinner. Rest.
Guptkashi – Kedarnath Day 1 (Palki)
Depart 4 AM. Drive to Gaurikund. Gaurikund hot spring ritual dip. Our team arranges palki (doli) for the 16 km Kedarnath ascent. Comfortable ride with rest stops at Bheem Bali and Linchauli. Arrive Kedarnath by 2 PM. Rest. Evening darshan from a comfortable distance.
Kedarnath — Full Darshan & Rest
Morning: VIP queue-free abhishek darshan at the Jyotirlinga. Attend morning aarti (no standing — seating arrangement made). Visit Shankaracharya Samadhi. Medical oxygen available. Rest afternoon. Overnight at Kedarnath.
Kedarnath – Guptkashi (Palki Descent)
Morning palki descent to Gaurikund at a gentle pace. Drive back to Guptkashi. Medical check. Rest. Good dinner and early sleep.
Guptkashi – Badrinath (160 km)
Relaxed drive via Joshimath. Frequent rest stops. Arrive Badrinath by 2 PM. Check in. Evening Tapt Kund soak — excellent for elderly joints (natural thermal spring at 45°C). Evening darshan.
Badrinath Darshan + Mana Village
Morning puja at Badrinath (seated VIP arrangement). Flat walk to Mana village (3 km — paved road, manageable for most seniors). Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pul visit. Afternoon rest. Medical check.
Badrinath – Rishikesh (260 km)
Return drive via Joshimath and Devprayag. Arrive Rishikesh by evening. Ganga aarti at Parmarth Niketan. Overnight at Rishikesh.
Rishikesh – Haridwar — Tour Concludes
Morning puja at Har Ki Pauri Haridwar. Certificate of completion, prasad and blessings. Transfer to railway station. Journey ends with renewed faith and divine peace.
