We run the Char Dham circuit by road out of Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun and Delhi. Every vehicle is our own, carries a current Green Card, and is driven by someone who works these roads through the whole season rather than being pulled in from the plains in May. You can book the cab on its own if you have your stays arranged, or as part of a full package — the vehicle and the driver are identical either way.

One all-in rate per day on every Char Dham and Uttarakhand route, and what the standard 10-day circuit covering Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath comes to at that rate.

2026 rates. Fuel, driver, tolls, parking, state taxes and GST included, up to 250 km a day; beyond that, extra km at the vehicle's per-km rate. The Tempo Traveller rate depends on its seating capacity. Each day more or less moves the circuit total by one day rate. Every enquiry gets one fixed all-in price.
Exactly what the fare covers
Both columns, published. On a twelve-day circuit the exclusions matter more than they do on a single transfer, so here they are up front.

What each dham demands of the vehicle
Two of the four have a road to the temple. The other two end at a trailhead, and knowing which is which is most of the planning.
Road ends at Sonprayag (private vehicles), then a shuttle to Gaurikund. Then 16 km on foot from gaurikund.
Road ends at Badrinath temple itself — the road goes all the way. No trek.
Road ends at Gangotri temple — the road reaches it. Then none to the temple; 18 km to gaumukh glacier if you want it.
Road ends at Janki Chatti. Then 6 km on foot from janki chatti.

Grouped by pickup city. A one-way drop into the hills is two days' hire, because the vehicle comes back empty — three from Delhi to a dham, one for the short Mussoorie runs. Force Tempo Traveller
The default vehicle for the standard package. The 12-seater is the one to ask for — on a 17-seater chassis with 12 people, everyone gets a window.

Rules of the road up here
Vehicle movement on the Char Dham roads is banned between 10 PM and 4 AM by the district administration. We plan every pickup so you reach your halt in daylight — anyone promising to drive you through the night is planning to be stopped at a checkpost.
Every commercial vehicle on a Char Dham route needs a Green Card (a fitness certificate specific to hill driving) plus a trip card for the journey. Ours are current on every vehicle we send. Without them you get turned back, usually at Rishikesh or Sonprayag.
This is a hill run outside the Char Dham corridor, so none of the yatra paperwork applies. What does apply is arithmetic: average speed on these roads is 25–30 km/h, not the 60 a map will assume, and the last stretch is single-lane in places. We quote the honest driving time rather than the optimistic one.
All four dhams need a biometric registration before darshan. It is free and done online at registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in, or at the counters in Haridwar and Rishikesh. We do it for you as part of the booking if you send us your ID details.
Private vehicles stop at Sonprayag. The last 5 km to Gaurikund runs on a timed one-way shuttle with slots assigned by the police. Your driver parks at Sonprayag and waits — the main luggage stays with the vehicle.
Nothing above the valleys applies on this stretch — no Green Card, no night-driving ban, no yatra registration. It is an expressway run, so the variables that matter are toll charges, which are included, and the pickup window you choose.

We do not take payment online. Most bookings run on a small advance over UPI and the balance to the driver at the end of the trip, so there is rarely anything to refund.

₹3,000–₹3,500 a day for a sedan (Dzire or Etios), ₹4,500–₹4,800 for an Ertiga, ₹5,000–₹5,500 for an Innova Crysta and ₹7,000–₹9,000 for a Tempo Traveller, depending on its seating capacity. Fuel, driver, tolls, parking, state taxes and GST are included, for up to 250 km a day.
The standard 10-day circuit comes to ₹30,000–₹35,000 in a sedan, ₹50,000–₹55,000 in an Innova Crysta and ₹70,000–₹90,000 in a Tempo Traveller — the day rate times the days the vehicle is with you. Each extra day adds one day rate.
Innova Crysta for families of four to six — it has the best suspension on the Rudraprayag–Guptkashi stretch and it is what we put senior travellers in. Tempo Traveller for groups of eight and up. A sedan is fine for a couple, but the boot is small, so pack soft duffels.
Yes. Cab-only is a normal booking here — plenty of people arrange their own stays, or already have ashram accommodation. You get the vehicle, the driver and everything the fare covers, and nothing else is bundled in.
Ten to twelve days from Haridwar covering all four dhams. Anything advertised under nine days is either skipping a dham or assuming a helicopter leg at Kedarnath.
It happens, particularly July to September. Our drivers know the alternate routes and we watch the BRO and district updates daily. If a road closes entirely we hold you at a safe halt rather than pushing through — and any extra night is quoted before it happens, not billed afterwards.
Yes. One vehicle and one driver from the first pickup to the final drop. Changing drivers mid-circuit is how the aggregator model works; it is not how ours does.
Fixed. The fare we quote for a route and vehicle is what you pay — no surge pricing for weekends, festivals or peak season, and no last-minute add-ons.
