🗺️ Day-by-Day Itinerary
Haridwar – Guptkashi (230 km | 8 hrs)
Depart Haridwar by 5 AM. Drive via Rishikesh, Devprayag (confluence of Bhagirathi & Alaknanda — brief photo stop), Srinagar, Rudraprayag, and Agastyamuni. Reach Guptkashi by 1–2 PM. Check in. Visit Kashi Vishwanath and Ardhanarishwar twin temples. Dinner and overnight stay.
Guptkashi – Gaurikund – Kedarnath Trek (16 km)
3 AM wake-up. Drive to Sonprayag, then shared jeep to Gaurikund (1,982m). Hot spring ritual bath. 16 km trek: Jungle Chatti (4 km), Bheem Bali (9 km), Linchauli (13 km), Kedarnath (16 km). Arrive Kedarnath (3,583m) by 2 PM. Evening darshan at the ancient stone Jyotirlinga temple. Overnight at Kedarnath tents/lodges.
Kedarnath Puja – Descent – Guptkashi
4 AM Brahma Muhurta rudrabhishek puja at the Kedarnath Jyotirlinga — the sacred hump of Lord Shiva (Nandi form). Attend morning aarti. Visit Shankaracharya Samadhi behind the temple. Optional: 1 km walk to Gandhi Sarovar glacial lake. Begin descent by 9 AM. Drive back to Guptkashi. Overnight.
Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath (165 km)
Morning drive through Okhimath, Ukhimath (winter seat of Kedarnath deity), Gopeshwar, Chamoli and Joshimath (Narsingh Temple visit). Arrive Badrinath (3,133m) by afternoon. Tapt Kund bath (45°C thermal spring). Evening mahabhishek darshan at Badrinath — abode of Lord Vishnu on the banks of Alaknanda.
Badrinath – Mana – Local Sightseeing
4 AM Bal Bhog darshan and VIP puja. Mana village visit (3 km by road) — Vyas Gufa (sage Vyas wrote Mahabharata here), Ganesh Gufa, Bhim Pul (natural stone bridge over Saraswati River), last chai shop in India. Brahamakapal Ghat for pitru puja. Neelkanth peak photograph. Return to Badrinath. Evening drive to Devprayag/Srinagar. Overnight.
Devprayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar (180 km)
Morning drive via beautiful Devprayag. Visit Rishikesh — Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Triveni Ghat. Evening Ganga aarti at Haridwar's Har Ki Pauri. Prasad and certificate distribution. Trip ends.
