Haridwar – Joshimath – Badrinath (315 km | 9 hrs)
Depart Haridwar at 4 AM. Drive via Rishikesh, Devprayag (beautiful Sangam of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda), Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Chamoli, Pipalkoti, and Joshimath (visit Narsingh Temple — winter seat of Badrinath). Arrive Badrinath (3,133m) — the "abode of Badri (jujube berry) and Lord Vishnu." Evening darshan at Badrinath temple. Tapt Kund ritual dip in 45°C thermal spring (bathing here before darshan is considered auspicious). Overnight Badrinath.
Badrinath Full Darshan – Mana Village – Local Sightseeing
4 AM: Bal Bhog prasad and morning darshan at Badrinath temple (dedicated to Lord Vishnu in his Badrinarayan form). VIP puja arranged. Explore the temple complex: Lakshmi Narayan temple, Kubera temple, Garuda Shila, Narad Kund. Visit Brahamakapal Ghat for ancestral puja rites (ancestral rites performed here are believed to bring peace to departed souls — mandatory for many Hindu families). Afternoon: Mana village (3 km by road) — Vyas Gufa (where the Mahabharata was composed), Ganesh Gufa, Bhim Pul (single rock bridge over Saraswati), the origin of the Saraswati River. Last tea shop in India. Neelkanth Parvat viewpoint photograph. Overnight Badrinath.
Badrinath – Devprayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar
Early morning final darshan and photography at the temple. Drive back to Haridwar via Joshimath, Rudraprayag, Devprayag, Rishikesh. Brief stop at Rishikesh — Ram Jhula walk. Haridwar Ganga aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Tour concludes.
